A manual override EXPIRES (max 240 min), so a forgotten one cannot light
the tank all night.

The node stores this and keeps running it even if this server goes down, so it
survives a reboot and an outage. The clock offset is manual — change it to
GMT when the clocks go back at the end of October, or the photoperiod shifts an
hour earlier without anything saying so.
Lamp is actually
Tell the node what the lamp is showing after you set it BY HAND. It tracks a
believed mode and steps from it, so a hand-set lamp leaves that belief wrong
and the next request lands one mode off. This corrects it without switching
anything.
Invalidate
last
Hides readings that were the sensor, not the tank. NOTHING IS DELETED — the
rows stay in the database and it is undoable; they simply return null, so charts
show a gap and trend rules skip them.
